This bug makes it very near impossible for me to scan my subscription
to listservs with long names (which in square brackets take up most of
the space alotted to subject).

Please fix gmail team!!!

ps. I've found other posts on the same bug, but for some reason am
unable to reply to add my complaint.

pps. Ideally a preference could create 2 or more lines of preview text
for messages with a certain tag.
