I had the same issue tyring to figure out how to get this to work
I was only able to get gmail for mobile 1.5.0 on my phone but it works
heres how i did it
I had to send my self a txt message to my phone with the direct
download url then go into the text message and go to the url in it and
it will allow you to download it to your phone. I was not able to go
directly to the url from my phone or through mobile google
here is the url
http://www.gmail.com/app/gmail.jad?m...DP2&ver=v1.5.0
copy this url, go to the www.sprint.com and on bottom right you will
see that you can send a text message to your phone just paste the url
in to the text you send yourself
