The current swarm is in the same basic location as the swarm of 2/2008 - I believe it is all volcanic related.. There is a lot of geothermal production at the Cerro Prieto area...(as well as the salton sea)

My guess, without doing any research on that structure, is that it's a
mining site for various chemicals that are being leached from the

I have seen maybe 1/4 the time then these turn towards teh NW in your
area....not real often...but it happens. Watch it on tis noticeable pattern.

It is very curious to me that I have not had much sensitivity to these
quakes, not like in the past when it was building there.
I believe that is the bottom end of the San Andreas. I see now the
action has bounced back up to Alaska....

Structure Near the 5.0 in Baja

Take a look at this. Whatever this is, it is beside the fault that had the 5.0 in Mexico. To see this better you can download the Google map from the USGS maps page. Does anybody know what this structure is?

It will be quite the while going through VHS tapes, but slowly we add
parts of Mountain Winds Family and now introduce Chapter 3. I encourage
those who have not seen any of them to see Chapter 1 and 2 but if you
have no time now, then at least see the newest one. Using analogue and
very old gear.

Hi Bob I have been spending every day at the "health care center" with my mom so I've had to squeeze in my e-mail etc. BUT they now have a computer for us patients and family members! I was "wishing" for it!

That one works for the MaxPA quake.
It also is pretty much on a line down the West Coast from the Arctic quakes, pulled by the Moon almost over the Equator.
On the other hand, there has been enough activity along the shore of the west coast of Central America to trigger it.
I think I'll wait through the Eq and Mid PA milestones and see how many 6M quakes we have.

Those two days of 4M and 5M quakes fulfill my criteria for both a 6M quake to come shortly, or if the seamount was preexisting and close to the surface, for an eruption to 5 miles high.

it could be a volcanic precursor I suppose - I'm sure there's just not
been much research in the remote area - we do know there are volcanos
under the Artic Ice..

Haven't checked the possibilities, but what about volcanics? Remember
that at that latitude the East/West distance is not nearly as great as
in California.
