Is anyone really surprised at any of this? I never bought the Edwards
as family man image. The whole picture (with the forgive me,
overweight Elizabeth) just didn't ring true. Edwards was so obviously
conceited and self aggrandizing and most of all, disingenuous. I
remember several things about "looking older than John" that Elizabeth
said years ago that made me cringe given his obvious vanity.

I know that not all conservatives are perfect. But far too many
liberals have no concept of real selflessness or commitment. They
simply do whatever seems appealing at the moment. I wonder how the
children of Mr. and Mrs. Edwards are feeling today.

The selfishness of men knows no political affiliation. Most men are driven
by their little head. That said, I am a Democrat, and I NEVER liked
Edwards--always appeared like a snake oil salesman or smarmy preacher ala
Joel Osteen.  Never bought his act.

And NO conservatives are perfect.  No human being is.  For the most part,
Democrats do not claim to be the party of family values, as cheaters like
Gingrich have.  Talk about overweight!  I don't know how Newt's much-younger
wife can stomach him heaving on her.

Kel seems mightily interested in John Edwards' sex life.  Could it be
possible Kel does not have one of his own?

Democrats have sex scandals and republicans have money scandals. Of
course, Clinton had both. But what a farfetching statement:  But far
too many

Will they show a picture of McCain's black love child or will they keep
hammering politicos who've retired?

Republicans don't have sex scandals?

Newt Gingrich.  Harry Hyde.  David Vitter.  Larry Craig. Dick Morris.
Just to name a few of recent note.

And if there's one thing we associate with conservatives it's
selflessness!

Yeah, John McSlime left his wife Carol after many years to take up
with Cindy Lou Hensley.  He has been quoted as saying he was in love
with Cindy Lou the very first day he met her.  And all the time still
married to Carol - f'shame, f'shame!  Adultery by John McCain!
