Many types of parenting styles work as long as the foundation is in
place. The foundation is based on supervision and safety of the
child, and being consistent in applying your particular style. Being
too permissive or overly strict are at the extremes. Finding an
appropriate balance of holding your child accountable, while
administering consequences when needed with unconditional love.
Praising your child for their good works is extremely important as
well. More info on encouraging positive children behaviors can be
found on my blog.
