BBC were able to persuade the author to read her book on air, and it was a delight. I am not ashamed to admit I shed a tear, just remembering the little ones and their excitement as we read it. 10 and 13 now but great readers and I put their love of books down to their wonderful parents but I am claiming just a little credit for my very small part.
