Oh dear Edward will be furious that he missed this, any idea if it is
to be shown again?

The BBC Iplayer only works in the UK, I recorded it but for some reason it
didn't work, so I checked and it is being repeated on Friday at 02.45 UK
time so I will try and record it again, Edward can do the same if you have a
DVD recorder.

Is it a film about Churchill?  I didn't catch all you said.  He is a
favorite historical figure to me.  I went to visit his gravesite on a drive
while visiting a friend in London.

Definitely worth watching if you can get the chance.    If not I may
record it to DVD in case anyone is desperate.   :-)

It was probably the most faithful account of him that I have seen, and
his wife Clemmy was well portrayed also.
It revealed some of the 'other' side of him which lost him the 1945
election, which was a surprise to the Americans.       He had no time
for the 'working classes' although he was happy enough to send them into
battle.
