I've tried Ocean Spray diet fruit juices.

They taste good and they have low carb counts.  I didn't check the label
close enough to decide if the carb counts are lies.  Nice alternative to
V8.

I haven't try that yet...I'll check it out. I do like V8 but I'd like
to try something different. Thanks for the heads up.

I read the label more carefully.  Five percent juice.  I now think the
2
gram per cup carb count is accurate.  The flavor's better than you
would think for five percent.

I've been buying the Ocean Spray for a couple of years now.   They
have introduced new flavors in the last year.   I like the Grape and
Cranberry ones the best.     And I agree, for the low carb, the flavor
is much better than you'd think.   The Cranberry could also be used
for cocktails.

I'm sure we'll hear from someone complaining they are Frankenfoods
before long.

When I read the label carefully I thought of "Sunny Delite" which is a
high carb drink based on orange juice.  It tastes better than you'd
think.  It's ingredients are closer to Tang than to real OJ but it
tastes closer to OJ than to Tang.

Chuckle.  I tried them as an alternate to V8 in the morning.  I don't
know where Frankenfood starts but they aren't in the same class as V8 to
me.

Franken foods are genetically modified organisms (GMO). They offer the
cabbage mosaic virus which turns on the inserted DNA (or any other

At 5% juice, why don't you just squeeze a little lemon, orange,
pomegranate, grape juice into your water, and cut out the
environmentally damaging, wasteful containers?

You're psychic!  Were you before low carbing or is that just another of
the many health benefits of low carb?  ;^)

Folks say the brain needs carbs.  Clearly that psychic stuff isn't
happening in the brain ...
