Hi all, What programs do people use to covert DVD's to AVI file and get them down to about 700mb with very good quality ?? I need to do this to put my DVD's to WD TV media player & USB on my Panasonic DVD. Thanks RodeoFalcon

I find the Nero9 software very difficult to use and printing down the manuals hasn't help much. Is there some way to get help that's easier to understand?

I have many old overseas movies which come with subtitles in files, or selectable subtitles from the menu in the player software such as "VLC" media player. I can get these to play OK on the computer, though it is hard to burn them to DVD/XVid with the subtitles of my choice imbedded in the image.... more »

Has anyone ever tried this and if so how well are the transfers? I see it uses a video capture usb device. Is this to say that it doesn't take up hard drive space too?
