On the other hand, there are plenty of sites where one can freely
upload files for public access, such as Flickr.com and Photobucket.com
The problem is that many sites don't allow such content to be
displayed.
There is a new feature that may be of interest here. Since you have a
gmail account, you can also create documents that include artwork.
You can share such document, either for viewing only or for
collaboration, simply be entering the email addresses of the people
you invite to do so.
Instead of entering the email address of a specific person, you could
enter the following email address:
artgallery@googlegroups.com
I've been told that, if you do that, your document with the artworks
becomes available for all group members.
A subsequent post at the group here with the URL of the document could
invite them to have a look, and where appropriate, even make additions
and add images of artwork.
Worth further exploring, I'll have a go myself, let me know if it
works,
