That God will do anything for a laugh! Even though we KNOW that
evolution is false, he keeps giving us all this silly fake evidence to
trick us. This time, I almost fell for it...

Tell me something, JT -

Since your objection to evolution is entirely based on faith, why do
you pretend to care about the details of the scientific explanation?
I imagine Draftie will answer your question, as could I or any number
of other people, but it seems kind of futile.  You don't believe in
evolution because it doesn't match your concept of God, and your faith
in God is very important to you.  Why should we explain the science,
as worked out by thousands of devoted scientists both theist and non-
theist over the past century and a half, when you're just going to
wave your hands and rationalize it all away?

I find you quite a disappointment, JT.  You're clearly intelligent,
and yet you can't see what's right in front of your eyes.  Literally
millions of scientists, many of whom are your fellow Christians, would
have to be wrong or lying for the Bible to be literally correct about
the age of the Earth.  There is no more scientific doubt about
evolution or the age of the Earth than there is about the germ theory
of disease or heliocentrism (to name two other scientific facts that
contradict a literal reading of the Bible.)

Many millions of Christians believe in both God and evolution.  You
could, too.

So long an essay, dear sir and good friend, you have elicited from me
with your booklet in which aATHEIST demonstrates his skill in a debate
with an absent Christian. He would not, thank God, do this in my
presence! My essay, I hope, will furnish a Christian (who in any case
has no desire to become a ATHEIST) with enough material not only to
defend himself against the blind, venomousATHEIST, but also to become
the foe of theATHEIST' malice, lying, and cursing, and to understand
not only that their belief is false but that they are surely possessed
by all devils. May Christ, our dear Lord, convert them mercifully and
preserve us steadfastly and immovably in the knowledge of him, which
is eternal life. Amen.

It's an example of evolution. And why it represents an example of
evolution is adequately explained in the article.

How many kinds of finches would have been on Noah's ark?

I'm curious: The identification of God as "I AM" is an idea that comes
from the scriptures, yes?

If it's stupid to trust the scriptures, why do you keep using the
scriptures' name for God?
