There should be an option to change the default time periods for each
new calendar entry. Right now, the default is one hour with no way to
change this behavior. In the preferences, a user should be able to
change the default appointment time to whatever he/she would like, in
my case, half-hour intervals. I now have to manually change each entry
in the calendar to a half-hour duration. Very annoying!
