As I described else-thread, the Kansas scenes were shot in B&W, but
printed onto color film with a sepiatone tint, evocative of old
photos. When Dorothy approaches the house's door, which she will open
to reveal OZ, that is the first color shot. However, the interior of

Discovery? To us round-eyes maybe (it was new to me). But over the
past century, tens of millions of Chinese presumably regarded chop
suey as familiar, down home cooking.

Uncle Hugo's quarterly newsletter. Uncle Hugo's is a Minneapolis SF
bookstore, closely associated with Uncle Edgar's, the mystery half of
the store.
The nicest thing about it is it includes a brief synopsis of the story
and lists what series it's a part of, if any.
Their forthcoming books section does include reprints, but they are

Yeah, if you like that sort of thing it's pretty well done, if you
don't mind the memory tampering too much.
But if you didn't like the first 30 pages because it was too dark then
stopping was probably the right thing to do.
Neither one of those two are my favorite things either, but it was well
enough done that I'll probably try a sequel out, in paperback.

I have Cloudberry, Lingonberry & Arctic Brambleberry liqueurs from
Lapponia in my liquor cabinet. The Lingonberry has thrown a
considerable sediment & is probably not drinkable, but the others are
still fine.

But not the COOL added CGI. This is the essential difference. If I
didn't notice it, it was not sufficiently cool. I remember a few other
cool additions, but most of the changes weren't really significant.
