Thats the problem with ag...it ruins the best weather of the year with long hours. Of course, this winter, when its -20, I'll have plenty of time on my hands. Dont get me wrong...I like what I do...I just like to ponder what it would be like to have spring and fall to be just that...spring and fall.

No kidding....it's a *beautiful* day here in Madison....and I'd really like to do nothing more than do outdoorsy stuff with the kids....or take a road trip down to Bloomington for the weekend and watch the Badgers and do touisty type of things....
It IS nice to have a job with 'value" and know that what I do makes a difference in the local community and world at large.

You get to be outside in Spring and Fall? Try sitting in a windowless cubicle.

I know and I appreciate that part very much. Its the hours and stress (of uncontrolable things like the weather) that make it not so much fun. My brothers work office jobs and spend lots of weekends and days off out here for fun and money. Works well for all of us.
