I just got back from the game and I agree 100%. You never boo your own
team. The guy clearly didn't play well, but I don't think he needs to
hear a bunch of assholes booing to know that.

Disagree here; you can boo your own team when it's clear that you're
booing the coaching staff and not the players.  Example when a play
selection is made that you think is chickenous, etc... go ahead and boo
as it's pretty obviously directed at the coaches and not the amateurs.
