How's that? That fact's been determined for a very, very long time. Sorry if
it's news to you.

Wrong. Both sperm cells and egg cells are just as alive as a zygote. Thus,
there is no "life" milestone at conception.

This is just one reason why your point about "fertilized eggs" being alive
is both true and completely irrelevent.

It's not even an abortion debate. If anything, it's a reminder of how little
people understand biology in this country.

Whatever.  It isn't the same question.

<Not sure where this came from.

A blastula is alive and human, just like my red blood cells.
Neither are a human being.

Edward M. Kennedy, my dear, dear friend, there was this time, oh,
8/20/2008 12:12 PM, or thereabouts, when you let the following craziness

I don't think anyone argues that a fertilized egg isn't "alive", though,
Ted.

That might have been Huck's point.

Cheers.

You don't see the difference between a fertilized egg and just
a sperm or just an egg?!  *My* life began at conception, the
sperm and egg were just the cells that contributed to it.

So when did your life begin?

Well, hammett is arguing life doesn't begin at conception.  Which leaves two

I know, I know.  Paraphrase: "Ray Davies can write songs that ate ten
times better than mine, and the Stones and Beatles sell ten times as
much as the two of us together."
