There are many mediums (media?) that channel someone from the spirit

You know, I collect these badges you get at conferences, and when I have
moments of ontological uncertainty, I just have a look at them.

I see from one of mine that I was a Senior Steward at the Royal Welsh
Show in 1988. (Wonderful to learn, by the way, that Lancelot Hogben has
risen from the Underworld.)

Just because someone quoted you?

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing
would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And
contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it
would. You see?"

Hmmm.

OK:

1. I am real.

that I have sent thee: when thou hast brought forth the people out of
Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain."

Eh, that putatively real person is not real either. I am the only real

After reading Wilkins's absurd quote which makes no attempt to get his
facts straight about Christian theology is there anyone who still
thinks Wilkins is an agnostic?

Hall Monitor Harshman has the intellectual honesty to at least hide
his bias rather than be disingenuous about it.

Did that make any sense at all? Hiding your bias is intellectually honest?

And I see nothing in Wilkins' quote that would preclude his being an
agnostic, or even a Christian.

Anyway, see you at your next post'n'run.

this, asked by a guy who called the bishops of his own church
'heretics' because they don't agree with his fundamentalism.

1. I am not agnostic about Christianity. It is simply false as it is
proposed by the churches, in my view. On that matter, I am an atheist.
I have always said this, by the way, Tony.

2. But on what I have called, many times, empirically inoculated
deities, whose existence requires no contrary to fact claims, I am
agnostic. I have also said this before.

Since you no doubt have trouble thinking of anyone who doesn't agree
with absolutely everything that you happen to believe as anything but
an atheist, I am happy to find myself int he company of Darwin, Asa
Gray, Mark Twain, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein and the other
"atheists"...
